The FINANCIAL — The Arab Bank launched the Arab Bank-Royal Jordanian co-branded visa card in Bahrain, in a move to prove the bank's commitment to offer its customers the best services wherever they are.
The visa card allows its holders to earn and redeem points against purchases, for which they can be awarded free tickets, upgrades to Crown Class and other privileges granted by Royal Jordanian frequent flyer program (Royal Plus).
Moreover, the co-branded visa card provides customers with all the privileges of the Arab Bank Gold visa card. These include credit limit that accommodates holders’ needs, free short messaging service about card transactions, free insurance against travel accidents, and a 45-day grace period.
After being issued the Arab Bank-Royal Jordanian co-branded visa card, the holders are registered in RJ's frequent flyer program, which grants them 100 free points that go in the Royal Plus account after their first flight on board RJ aircraft. They also get one point in return for every 5 Bahraini dinars purchase.
Upon purchasing a ticket using the co-branded visa card, the holder enjoys a 50% discount on the second ticket to the same destination, but for a limited period.
The Arab Bank also launched this card for its customers recently in Qatar.
This partnership between the Arab Bank and Royal Jordanian is bound to raise the bank customers’ awareness about RJ's frequent flyer program and the advantages granted its members, most importantly the right to excess baggage, upgrades to Crown Class and free tickets. A frequent flyer can also purchase additional points in order to earn more points, qualifying him for the reward he wants.
