The FINANCIAL — On 25 November, the EU-funded Armenia – Georgia Eastern Partnership Territorial Cooperation Programme (EaPTC) brought together nine cross-border projects to present the results of their activities in Georgia and Armenia at the meeting in the Georgian city of Rustavi.
The projects reported on their recent developments to representatives of the central government, local authorities, civil society organisations and the national platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum from Armenia and Georgia, according to EU Neighbours East Info.
The projects started their activities in October 2015 and include “Better Together: Joint Action for Conservation of Javekheti -Shirak Eco-Region”, “Young Travellers” and “Fairytales teaching trust”. Through them, the EaPTC aims to strengthen cross-border cooperation between local authorities, communities and civil society organisations in order to find joint solutions to common social and economic development challenges in the bordering regions of Armenia and Georgia. The EU contribution to the Armenia-Georgia territorial cooperation is 1.35 million EUR.
