The FINANCIAL — Aston University has been ranked first in the UK for accommodation quality and first in the UK for arrival support from its Accommodation Office in the latest International Student Barometer (ISB) survey (Autumn 2014).
The ISB is a survey of international students carried out by the International Graduate Insight Group (i-graduate) and covers four broad categories – Arrival, Learning, Living and Support.
Aston University was rated top 10 in the UK for its:
Accommodation office arrival (1st); accommodation quality (1st); accommodation support (2nd); visa advice (3rd); work experience (3rd); careers advice (5th); overall support (5th); employability (7th); counselling (8th); transport links (8th); international student advisor support (10th)
The ISB independent worldwide survey is designed to provide universities with an understanding of the motivations, expectations and experiences of international students. In total, 183 institutions participated in the autumn wave of this survey, 54 of these were UK Universities.
Overall Support at Aston University was rated at nearly 95 per cent by those international students who responded to the survey. This places Aston University at 5th in the UK and 10th in the world out of participating institutions.

Aston University currently welcomes students from over 120 countries, making it a truly global Institution.
