The FINANCIAL — A suicide bomber on foot blew himself up on March 9 in a Shi’ite area of Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, killing at least seven people, officials said.
“In the explosion, seven were martyred and seven were wounded,” Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish wrote on Facebook.
At least 13 people were wounded in the blast and were taken to hospital, said Wahidullah Majroh, a spokesman for the Health Ministry, according to RFE/RL’s Radio Free Afghanistan.
