The FINANCIAL — Australian wages excluding bonuses rose by a seasonally adjusted 0.6% in the second quarter from the first and by 2.3% from a year earlier, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on August 12, according to Nasdaq.
In the private sector, wages excluding bonuses rose by 0.5% in the second quarter from the first and by 2.2% from a year earlier.
Public-sector wages rose by 0.7% in the quarter and by 2.5% from a year earlier.
