For 15 years in the vibrant tapestry of Georgia’s beauty industry, one name has stood out: AVON. Celebrating a remarkable 15-years journey of empowering women and democratizing beauty in Georgia, AVON has woven itself into the fabric of the nation’s culture and community.

As we delve into the inner workings of this iconic brand, AVON Georgia’s Director, Ana Tskhadadze, graciously opens the door to reveal the brand’s latest updates, ongoing initiatives, and inspiring vision for the future.

Q. Let’s start with a familiar question for you! AVON has won the Golden Brand for the sixth time as the leading brand in the beauty industry in Georgia. How does the company manage to maintain its image, trust, and popularity in the eyes of both consumers and representatives?

A. At Avon our commitment to excellence is unwavering. We believe in creating products that not only meet the highest standards of quality and innovation but also resonate with our customers on a personal level. By always listening to their feedback and evolving with their needs, we’ve been able to build a brand that’s not only trusted, but loved. Winning the Golden Brand for the sixth consecutive year is not just a milestone; it’s a testament to our enduring legacy and continued innovation.

Q. How was the last year for the company in Georgia?

A. 2023 was a transformative year for Avon in Georgia. Despite the unprecedented challenges posed by the global pandemic, we continued to innovate, adapt, and thrive.

By leveraging digital platforms and embracing new technologies, we were able to connect with our customers in new and meaningful ways. I have to mention that 2023 was a year of significant celebration and achievement for us. Not only did we observe the 15th anniversary of AVON’s presence in Georgia, we also commemorated this milestone with a series of engaging events and initiatives. This momentous occasion was a testament to our unwavering commitment to the Georgian community and our dedication to delivering exceptional beauty products and empowering opportunities for women.

Q. What are your expectations and plans for 2024?

A. As we step into 2024 our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer-centricity remains unwavering, and we are determined to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the beauty industry. We are particularly focused on getting closer to our customers, listening to their needs, and providing them with original products at competitive prices. Additionally, we are committed to creating opportunities for women and everyone working in the beauty industry, empowering them to achieve their full potential. With a renewed sense of purpose and a clear vision for the future, we are excited to embark on this journey and make 2024 a year of growth and success for AVON Georgia.

Q. What new products did Avon offer to its customers, and which products are the main hits of this year?

A. The launch of Hydramatic Shine in March 2024 is just one example of our commitment to innovation. This groundbreaking product combines the latest advancements in skincare technology with a “makeup with care” approach, delivering a truly transformative experience for our customers. We have introduced new additions to our skincare and fragrance lines. Our anti-aging skincare line ANEW boasts innovative formulas designed to address the unique needs of mature skin, providing our customers with effective solutions to achieve a radiant complexion. And of course our range of fragrances continues to captivate and inspire. Far Away, a brand beloved by our customers for its enchanting and evocative scents, has once again proven to be a hit. We’re thrilled to see its enduring popularity and look forward to continuing to deliver the quality and excellence our customers expect from AVON.

Q. Can you share some of your personal favorite products from Avon, be it decorative cosmetics or personal care products?

A. I’m particularly fond of our Anew line of skincare products. They embody innovation and efficacy, addressing a variety of skin concerns such as aging, hydration, and radiance. Anew Renewal Protinol Power Serum is a luxurious blend of face serum that deeply nourishes and rejuvenates the skin.

My other favorite is Lip Oil that has become a staple in my daily routine, it has a hydrating formula enriched with natural oils. And of course I can’t forget our iconic fragrances. Each one tells its own unique story, from the timeless elegance of Far Away to the captivating scents of Incandescence.

Each of these products reflects AVON’s commitment to quality, innovation, and efficacy. As we continue to evolve and introduce new products, I’m excited to see how they’ll become an integral part of the beauty routine and enhance the lives of Georgian women.

Q. What is Avon doing in terms of charity – breast cancer and helping victims of domestic violence, and then ecology and volunteering as new directions?

A. Our commitment to social responsibility and giving back to the community is evident in our ongoing initiatives to support breast cancer awareness with Europa Donna Georgia, victims of domestic violence in partnership with the UNFPA Georgia office, and environmental sustainability on a full scale level. By championing these important causes, we’re not just a beauty brand; we’re a force for good in the world.

I have to elaborate on our collaboration with UNFPA, which has been very fruitful. In 2023 alone we managed to raise an impressive sum of 50,000 GEL for a domestic violence shelter to provide vital support to victims in need. Furthermore, we undertook a large-scale campaign and social mobilization during the “16 days of activism”, shedding light on the issue and driving significant engagement across various platforms.

I have to mention AVON’s commitment to environmental sustainability on a global level, which is reflected in our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, utilize more eco-friendly materials, and promote recycling and waste reduction. AVON understands the importance of protecting our planet for future generations and remains dedicated to making a positive impact through our eco-conscious initiatives.

In 2024, our dedication to social responsibility extends to our volunteering initiatives in Georgia, where we encourage our employees and representatives to give back to their local communities through volunteer work. Through these efforts, we aim to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need and create a more sustainable and compassionate world.

Avon’s journey to the top of the beauty industry is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and social responsibility. As we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible, one thing is clear ⁠—  our legacy of excellence is far from over.
