Azerbaijan’s Emergencies Ministry is drafting new standard acts and bills to strengthen government control over construction.
The FINANCIAL — According to APA-Economics, Jabrayil Khanlarov, Chief of the State Agency for Construction Safety under the Ministry of Emergencies, said the ministry is working on “Rules for Examination of Construction, Bill on Construction, Construction Code and other normative acts.
“Our aim is to fill gaps in construction sector and strengthen government controls,” he added. He noted that 220 under-construction buildings were examined during this year and companies were ordered to redress deficiencies.
