The FINANCIAL — In January-March period of 2016, the volume of agricultural production in Azerbaijan totaled 643.6 mln AZN, an increase of 2.7% compared with the same period last year, reported the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, according to APK-Inform.
In particular, the growth of livestock commodities production totaled 2.5%. At the same time, Azerbaijan produced 111.8 thsd tonnes of meat (up 1.8%), 440.9 thsd tonnes of milk (up 3.2%), 407 mln pcs eggs (up 4.3%).
In turn, in January-March the growth of plant growing commodities production totaled 9.2%.
