The FINANCIAL — According to abc.az., Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has resumed air communication with Georgia interrupted because of military actions in the zone of Georgia-Ossetia conflict.
AZAL informed Fineko/abc.az that air communication was resumed on August 17. Already two Baku-Tbilisi flights have been made.
Let’s mention that in the heat of the dispute for coercive redintegration of South Ossetia, the Georgian Government has closed air communication itself with all countries of the world except Ukraine and Turkey. Those measures were included into package of such decisions made by Georgian Government as a one-week ban for banking activity, blocking .ru domain and interruption of retranslating Russian TV channels.
