The FINANCIAL — Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Canada) (“BTMU Canada”), a subsidiary of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. (“BTMU”) (President: Nobuyuki Hirano), opened its new office and commenced operations on June 1, in the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Since The Bank of Tokyo, Ltd., a predecessor of BTMU, opened its Toronto Representative Office in 1954, BTMU has endeavored to enhance its service for customers in Canada. The Calgary Office, which is BTMU Canada’s fourth office, following its Toronto Head Office, Montreal Office and Vancouver Office, reinforces BTMU’s network in Canada, according to Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ.
Through its new Calgary Office, BTMU Canada plans to contribute to the development of its customers’ business in the area by providing more convenient financial services. By making the fullest use of the top network among Japanese banks, BTMU Canada will strive to provide fuller financial services to respond to customers’ diverse needs.
