Barclays Corporate has provided Chop’d with new funding to support the salad bar’s expansion

The FINANCIAL — The business is in the process of opening two new stores in London bringing its total portfolio to eight.

The first of which opened on Saturday 3 December in Box Park, the pop-up mall in Shoreditch, east London. The second will open in Paternoster Square in January 2012.

Originally opened in 2004, Chop’d is a gourmet salad bar concept that offers a range of healthy meals from balanced salads, soups and stews, to sushi, wraps and meze.
