The FINANCIAL — Barclays announces that registration for its Encore! Program is officially open for applicants who want to participate in the 12-week program focused on workforce re-entry.
Barclays is building off the success of its third New York class and inaugural London class last year, by expanding applications to locations around the world including: Whippany, NJ; Birmingham, UK; and Manchester, UK.
Encore! provides professionals returning to the workforce the opportunity to refresh their professional skills through leadership and development training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and a paid working role for the program’s duration.
Candidates for the program should meet the following criteria:
• Have achieved the equivalent of a Vice President level or above when previously in the workforce.
• Have taken at least a one-year career break.
• Be able to commit to working full-time at Barclays for the full twelve weeks and have an interest in a full-time position with Barclays after the program ends.
Potential candidates in New York, Whippany, London, Birmingham, and Manchester can now complete the application form on the Encore! Website. Applicants will undergo an initial qualification screening by the Barclays Resourcing team, followed by interviews in November and December. The twelve-week paid program for successful candidates will begin in January 2019.
