Commenting on his appointment, Jim Murphy said: “Barclays has ambitious strategic plans to grow its trade and working capital and financial institutions offering globally and as such this is an exciting time to be joining the team. I look forward to supporting this vision and further developing the banks offering across the regions I’m responsible for.”

Shona Tatchell, Head of FI Trade, commented; “Jim’s appointment further cements Barclays’ commitment to providing dedicated support for our clients, particularly in the FI segment, with their trade finance and working capital needs.”
