The FINANCIAL — Barclays has bolstered the London office of its wealth and investment management division with two private banker appointments.
Mark Priestley has taken up the post of Director, and will be working with the team to bring the full range of wealth and investment management solutions to clients in the London area.
Prior to joining Barclays, Mark spent 25 years at Coutts & Co. For the last 18 years he was a banker looking after a number of high net worth individuals. As Barclays reported, he also spent four years as a Client Partner managing a team of private bankers who specialised in looking after UK resident and domiciled entrepreneurs.
In addition, Michael Foy joins Barclays as a private banker from Coutts where he worked for 22 years. During the past 13 years, Michael was a banker to high net worth individuals and specialised in looking after UK resident and (non) domicile entrepreneurs. Since 2008, he held the role of Client Partner, running a large team of bankers in the Executive Client Group at the bank.
Commenting on the two appointments, Ben Covey, Regional Director of Wealth and Investment Management at Barclays, said:
