The FINANCIAL — Tbilisi Marriott Hotel hosted an opening ceremony of the representation of BASF, one of the world’s largest chemical manufacturers. Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and members of the Government attended the event.
The BASF high-level delegation, headed by Senior Vice President Laurent Tainturier, visited Tbilisi to take part in the official ceremony, according to MFA of Georgia.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Laurent Tainturier addressed the attending audience. The Georgian Prime Minister thanked the BASF management and personally, the Senior Vice President for opening the company’s regional office, which highlights the progress country has made due to effective government reforms.
The BASF representative, in his speech, underlined that the company has been closely following the processes in Georgia, the achieved progress and the existing liberal business environment.
It should be noted that BASF is the world’s leading chemical producing company.
