The FINANCIAL — As of August 24, Belarus harvested grains and pulses throughout 99% of the planned areas. The produced volumes reached 8.54 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 3.95 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus on August 24, according to APK Inform.
According to operative data, Brest oblast already finished grain harvesting works, but Minsk, Mogilev, Gomel and Grodno oblasts still have to harvest grains throughout nearly 0.2-0.3% of remaining planted areas each. Agrarians from Vitebsk oblast will have to harvest grains throughout additional 4% of the areas, specified the Ministry.
To date, agrarians still continue harvesting buckwheat, millet, rapeseed, etc.
