The FINANCIAL — The general harvest of grains in Belarus will reach the last year level, announced Leonid Zayats, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, on August 16, according to APK Inform.
According to him, Belarus has the opportunities to not only reach the reporting harvest results, but also exceed them. The country has already completed grain harvesting works throughout the areas of nearly 1.9 mln ha. The average yield for the country totaled 3.86 t/ha. At the same time, in several oblasts the index exceeded 4 t/ha, L.Zayats informed.
