The FINANCIAL — As of September 1, agricultural organizations of Belarus harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 2.067 mln ha (98.1% of the plan). The average yield totaled 3.35 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus.
The harvested volumes reached 6.932 mln tonnes of grains (taking into account buckwheat and millet), a decrease of 1.736 compared with the last year indices, according to APK-Inform.
In particular, the harvested areas in Brest oblast reached 331 thsd ha (100%), Vitebsk oblast – 282.9 thsd ha (90.2%), Gomel oblast – 346.8 thsd ha (99.5%), Grodno oblast – 302.5 thsd ha (98.6%), Minsk oblast – 501.3 thsd ha (99.4%), Mogilev oblast – 302.6 thsd ha (99.8%).
Also, agrarians harvested rapeseed throughout 153.9 thsd ha (73.1%), and produced 252 thsd tonnes of the oilseed. The average yield reached 1.64 t/ha.
