The FINANCIAL — According to operative data as of August 11, agricultural organizations of Belarus harvested grains and pulses throughout 1.691 mln ha, or 75.2% of the planned areas. The average yield totaled 3.76 t/ha, the harvested volumes – 6.36 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring rapeseed throughout 144.3 thsd ha (57.2%). The harvested volumes totaled 333.2 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 2.31 t/ha. But on August 11, 2014, Belarus harvested 793 thsd tonnes of the oilseed throughout 347.5 thsd ha (87.1%), with the yield of 2.28 t/ha, according to APK Inform.
Agricultural organizations plan to plant winter rapeseed for the harvest-2016 throughout 410 thsd ha. Agrarians already prepared the soil throughout 247.2 thsd ha (60.3%).
As a reminder, on the same date in 2014, Belarus harvested 8.707 mln tonnes of grains throughout 2.2 mln ha (90.6%), with the average yield of 3.96 t/ha.
