The FINANCIAL — During 5 months of 2016, Belarus increased supplying of agricultural products to the CIS countries and the European Union, as well as started exporting poultry meat under the UN program, declared the Head of the Main department of foreign economic activity at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Alexei Bogdanov on July 11.
It particular, in March 2016 JSC Agrokombinat Dzerzhinskiy and the US company Rastelli Foods Group signed a contract for 10 mln USD for the supply of poultry meat to the Middle East and North Africa under the UN program, according to APK-Inform.
According to the announcement, to date Belarus exports its agricultural products to 48 countries. In particular, in the reporting period Belarus supplied agricultural products to the Russian Federation at 793.6 mln USD, in other CIS countries – 32 mln USD. The exports to Armenia and Moldova increased by 21.8% and 44.6%, respectively. Also, the supplies to Ukraine increased in 10 times. Belarus supplied agricultural products to far abroad countries at 14 mln USD.
