The FINANCIAL — Belarusian agrarians plan to complete the harvesting campaign of spiked grains within 10-12 days, declared Leonid Zayats, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, on August 5.
According to him, agrarians would have to harvest buckwheat and millet, but the complete grain, but the harvesting works on spiked grains would be completed. In addition, in late August and September agrarians will start harvesting corn throughout nearly 210 thsd ha.
The Minister said that in the current year it is expected to produce nearly 1 mln tonnes of corn grain for needs of the animal husbandry industry. Despite the difficult weather conditions, Belarus plans to form significant carry-over stocks of milling grains, according to APK Inform.
