The FINANCIAL — The first Casino Investors Congress will be held at the Resort on the, 4th, 5th, and 6th, of September and has almost reached capacity registration for the event.
Delegates, representing over 70 gaming, leisure and tourism organisations from as many as 21 different countries, will look for innovation plans and insight into the area’s development strategy.
The aim is to provide investors an opportunity to see what officials in Batumi, Ajara and Georgia have in mind for the region's entertainment and tourism markets. As the vision unfolds the government is eager to place the area in a good position to reap the benefits of new facilities for tourists and the population.
The Georgian Black Sea Resort of Batumi was described by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as a mini Las Vegas.
Investors from countries such as Spain, Macau, Austria, Portugal, Estonia, Slovenia, India and the USA will be on hand to watch and listen to the proposals during the Congress. The event is being hosted by the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara and investors attending the Casino Investors Congress will be granted unlimited access to leading government officials and prominent personal involved in the development scheme. The Ajara and Georgia governments will reveal the current and future framework for gambling legislation and regulation.
"This is a C-Level business Congress at which delegates will have unparalleled access to the politicians and the government figures who are deciding the future of gaming and tourism in this part of the world”, Congress Director, John Sullivan, commented. “It is a unique opportunity to be able to discuss and help shape the future of gaming in Batumi and for any serious investor or supplier of casino equipment and services, one not to be missed."
