The FINANCIAL — Bloomberg international training and research lab was opened today at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Bloomberg created a special project for higher education institutions – Bloomberg Education – which involves creating a “dealing room” on the bases of 12 terminals. This will the universities to teach students the real-time stock exchange operations and facilitate their implementation, according to Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
Bloomberg Educational support units – will help the university professors and teachers (economists, lawyers, mathematicians and journalists) to engage themselves more in the international market research, international markets, management, the trends, features and get full information about the current economic situation in the world, in concjunction with sharing it with their counterparts. Additionally Bloomberg International research center will organize conferences, develop and attract grants and help the speacilists to enhance their skills in invetsments and banking. Bloomberg’s platform will have direct access to its databese, which will give the students the opportunity to obtain a comprehensive theoritical and practical knoweldge, and at the same time carry out similar operations in real-time mode.
Bloomberg- International Research Laboratory University professors and teachers (economists, lawyers, mathematicians, journalists) to engage in the international market research, international markets, management, study market trends, features, get full information, to share it with his colleagues, to organize at the base of the conferences, develop and attract grants, both within and outside of the profile, based on the real skills to prepare specialists in Dealing, investment, banking, financial and insurance corporations. Bloomberg-‘s platform will have direct access to its database of TSU, the International Monetary and dealing with the full cycle of operations, which will give students the opportunity to obtain a comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge and, at the same time, to carry out similar operations in real-time mode.
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University has the potential to become a center of international finance, and foreign exchange in the Caucasus region. There are two companies who deal with electronic suppport the international finances, currency, and commodity exchanges, which are Bloomberg and Reuters. Only these companeis have the exclusive rights to dealing and the world of finances relies on these companies’ operations.
