The FINANCIAL — Birmingham, October 3rd 2011 — Bloomer Heaven, one of the oldest firms of independent chartered accountants in Birmingham and member of MHA, has relocated to new, modern offices, at Rutland House in Edmund Street.
Funding to support the move and fit out of the offices has been provided by NatWest and Lombard, the asset finance provider.
Founded in 1877 Bloomer Heaven work with clients primarily within the SME sector and with owner managed businesses offering a complete range of business, tax, audit and not for profit solutions.
The move, after 22 years in Lionel Street and part of Bloomer Heaven's strategic development, will allow the firm to enhance its offering to clients by capitalising on opportunities of working more closely with other professionals already located in Birmingham's Colmore Business District.
Speaking about the move, Bloomer Heaven, managing director, Christopher Stephen-Haynes said: "We are excited about the move to Edmund Street because of the opportunities it provides to work more closely with other City professionals. We are proud of our long Birmingham history and with our location both within the City itself and the wider strong West Midlands business community our new home means we will remain an important player in the City's professional community whilst helping to play our part in the economic renaissance of the region as it seeks to grow out of recession. The move is also an integral part in our own growth plans."
Andy Green, relationship manager, commercial banking at NatWest who with his colleague Sophie Walters from Lombard put in place the funding lines added: "Bloomer Heaven is an important player in the Birmingham professional services market. This move reaffirms their commitment to the city and the region and is an important statement about their future intentions."
