The FINANCIAL — Bombardier Transportation on October 10 announced that Claas Belling has been appointed Head of External Communications at the company’s headquarters in Berlin, Germany.
Claas Belling will manage the global external communications, including marketing communications and group media relations, in close cooperation with Bombardier Transportation’s local media relations representatives in their respective countries. In his role he reports to Cecile Vion-Lanctuit, Vice President Communications at Bombardier Transportation, according to Bombardier.
Belling joins from Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH where he led the external communications for the international business. Prior to this, he managed communications for the manned military aircraft and services business at Airbus Defence and Space starting in 2008. In this regard he managed communications actions in numerous high volume global sales campaigns. He also worked for several years in press and public relations in the German armed forces. Claas Belling has profound knowledge of communications and a degree in Journalism and Public Relations.
