The FINANCIAL — The company "Tegeta Motors" with the Japanese company BRIDGESTONE held for the eighth time the annual championship in pair races called "Bridgestone Black Sea Cup" in the city of Batumi.
100 riders took part in the qualifying session of the races. Otar Tavartkiladze – The new owner of «Bridgestone Black Sea Cup» and the winner of the competition, which lasted all day, was detected at a crucial stage of the races where 16 finalists competed.
Second place went to Data Kadjaia, and the third to – Giorgi Nadiradze. The prize fund of 8000 GEL was allocated as follows: first place – 4000 GEL, second – 2500 GEL, while the third – 1500 GEL. Gold sponsors as "Wissol" and "Beeline" also gave winners gifts as a keepsake.

«Bridgestone Black Sea Cup» was held for 2 days in 2012. The first day was dedicated to pair races competitions between amateur and professional riders, and the second day was devoted to a competition between different media means.

Representatives from «Bridgestone Corporation» and «Mitsubishi Corporation», together with delegation from the company «Motul» arrived from Japan specifically for these competitions.
The competition was attended by top management of the company "Tegeta Motors", representatives from Batumi City Hall and other officials.
The competition was organized by the Federation of Automobile Sports of Georgia (Official Member of FIA) and held under the patronage of Batumi Tourism Agency, the Department of Sport and Youth Affairs of Adjara and Batumi City Hall.

First car races «Bridgestone Black Sea Cup» took place in 2005 and since then the event is very popular with the public.
Competitions «Bridgestone Black Sea Cup» is distinguished in the highest level and prestige, as well as in big prize fund, and of course in famous Georgian racers’ participation in it every year.
