The FINANCIAL — On 24-25 November 2016, Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Sir Alan Duncan is paying a visit to Georgia.
Sir Alan Duncan will hold meetings with Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Acting Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Acting Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze, according to MFA of Georgia.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry will host the Wardrop Dialogue Plenary Session. Following the session, a joint press conference will be held.
The Wardrop Dialogue provides for meeting of thematic groups. Talking points includes co-operation in political, security and defence spheres, as well as economic, trade, cultural, educational and people-to-people relations issues.
As part of the visit, Sir Alan Duncan will visit the Crisis Management Centre and visit the administrative boundary line in the Khurvaleti village.
The Minister of State will also deliver a public lecture at the Ilia State University.
The bilateral political dialogue – Wardrop Dialogue – founded in 2014, is dedicated to the discussions of British-Georgian bilateral, regional and multilateral co-operation.
