The FINANCIAL — The Cabinet of Ministers is intending to appoint Yevhen Bakulin the board chairman of the Naftohaz Ukrainy national oil and gas company, according to a well-informed source.
The source said the candidacy of Bakulin has been agreed with the leadership of the Ukrainian government.
Yevhen Bakulin headed Naftohaz Ukrainy from March 2007 through December 2007 with then Fuel and Energy Minister Yurii Boiko, who is the minister again.
Yevhen Bakulin was the director general of the Ukrhazvydobuvannia Company, a subsidiary of Naftohaz Ukrainy, from June 2003 until March 2005.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Oleh Dubyna was the head of the Naftohaz Ukrainy national oil and gas company from December 2007 until March 2010.
