The FINANCIAL — The Cabinet of Ministers intends to attract investments from Japan and Canada for construction of grain elevators, Premier Yulia Tymoshenko announced July 26 during an interview with ICTV television company.
"We have signed all the necessary documents with both countries," said Tymoshenko.
She didn't go into details of these documents but said that grain elevators will be used by agricultural service cooperatives and that the corresponding program will have been implemented by 2010.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Tymoshenko hopes for increase in South Korean investments in the Ukrainian economy, particularly in development of infrastructure and logistics in the agricultural sector.
