The FINANCIAL — Campbell Soup Company was recognized on April 21 as a top corporate citizen by Corporate Responsibility Magazine.
Campbell ranked No. 10 among all large-cap Russell 1000 companies on the magazine’s annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens List, which is regarded as the top corporate responsibility ranking based on publicly available information in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance, and philanthropy and community support, according to Campbell Soup Company.
“We are honored once again to be recognized as a top corporate citizen by Corporate Responsibility Magazine,” said Dave Stangis, Campbell’s Vice President, Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. “As a purpose-driven organization, we believe we can make both a profit and a difference through our sustainable, responsible business operations around the world.”
Launched in 2000, the 100 Best Corporate Citizens List is based on more than 250 data points of disclosure and performance measures. The 100 Best Corporate Citizens List’s methodology is governed by the Methodology Committee of the Corporate Responsibility Association.Â
