The FINANCIAL — According to RIA Novosti, car bomb killed 7 and wounded 13 civilians in Iraq's city of Fallujah.
The blast appeared to target an army patrol of the city of Fallujah in western Anbar province, which lies about 50km west of the capital Baghdad. Police said, the explosion came from a parked car and was not a suicide action.
The blast comes in the wake of Iraq's parliamentary election. The security in Fallujah, being once the center of Sunni Muslim revolts against the United States invasion, has improved the recent years.
