The FINANCIAL — China attracted $9.61 billion of foreign direct investment in April, up 10.5% from a year earlier, the Ministry of Commerce said on May 15, according to Nasdaq.
The figure was down from March’s $12.4 billion, which was 2.2% higher than a year earlier.
FDI in the first four months of the year rose 11.1% on year to $44.49 billion.
In the January-April period, non-financial overseas direct investment rose 36.1% on year to $34.97 billion, the ministry said.
