The FINANCIAL — SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 8 – CNET today announced that Harry McCracken, Founder and Editor of the technology Web site Technologizer, will join CNET as a contributing editor.
McCracken will cover technology in a new blog titled “Challengers" where he will follow companies and technologies that are challenging established services and attempting to disrupt the status quo. The Challengers blog launches today and can be accessed here.
With more than 20 years experience covering technology, McCracken is well recognized as one of the industry’s foremost journalists. In 1994, he became an editor at PC World, where he spent 14 years and was named Editor in Chief of the magazine and Web site. In 2008, he left PC World to launch Technologizer, which has since been recognized as one of the industry’s most popular technology blogs.
