The FINANCIAL — Leading Georgian companies are promising to please their partners by sending out special corporate gifts this Christmas. Last year many of them reduced corporate gift spending due to financial difficulties.
Now the situation has improved and the number of gift recipients has increased. Companies believe that corporate gifts help to create a stronger brand name, underlining their special relationship with customers.
“Giving out corporate gifts is kind of a tradition for us. We choose the presents quite carefully as they are delivered to our clients, partners and other special people. Our employees also look forward to New Year as they receive gifts from the company. We give out corporate gifts every year and we try to be exceptional and original in our choices. There are several types of gift package and every year they are chosen with a great sense of responsibility. This year the gift package differs from last year,” said Tiko Janashvili, Communications and PR Coordinator at Bank Republic.
“Every year we present gifts to our employees, partner organizations and clients. We always have one main gift in the basket accompanied by different sweets and accessories. This year we have an audio CD, wall calendars, organizer and special book which includes twelve stories of twelve famous Georgian authors and twelve photos taken by Georgian photographers,” said Maia Dzirkvelishvili, TBC Bank.
Bank of Georgia is also going to give out corporate gifts this year.
“Due to the fact that the number of the Bank’s clients and employees is increasing, bank expenses for its employees is also increasing,” Bank of Georgia told The FINANCIAL. “Caring about customers and employees is one of the top priorities for BoG. The Bank holds different events dedicated to its employees and customers every year.”
Mzia Sharashidze from company Redix, which is also quite active in giving out corporate gifts at New Year, says their corporate gift baskets usually include wine, chocolates, sweets, glasses, pens and business diaries.
“We are going to arrange a corporate New Year event. This event is still in the planning process. We don’t yet know the exact date of the event, but last year we enjoyed our corporate New Year evening with big pleasure. Such events are always a pleasure for the company as well as for the company’s employees,” Rusudan Kbilashvili, Wissol said.
