Container train Ukraine-China to start working in business mode since March

The FINANCIAL — The transit container train from Ukraine to China, bypassing the territory of the Russian Federation, which moves along the new Silk Road route, will start working in business mode since March 2016, declared the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Andriy Pivovarsky on February 5.

According to him, on February 20 the parties will sign the final protocol in Baku, Azerbaijan, which will settle all technical challenges. And since March, the train can operate in the standard business mode.

According to the Minister, the estimated shipping time at the reporting route totals 15 days, but the period can be shortened to 10 days. He added that the shipping time of goods to Asian countries through the territory of Russia totaled 9-10 days.
