The FINANCIAL — Sakaeronavigatsia Ltd of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and French company Thales signed the Contract on Radar System Maintenance. The Project cost amount to 2 million EUR.
The Contract was signed by the Sakaeronavigatsia Ltd Director General, Gocha Mezvrishvili and the Thales Sales Director, Olivier Achard, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
The Contract obliged the French company to provide technical maintenance of the radars at the three Georgian airports as well as to ensure the scheduled update of the system and software during the next 5 years. The Contract also envisages annual technical inspection of the radars by the representative of Thales and preparation of relevant annual report. Technical parameters of the radars shall be supervised from the Thales head office and distance assistance shall be provided through the e-mail and hotline. Theoretical and practical trainings for the employees of Sakaeronavigatsia Ltd are also foreseen by the terms of the Contract.
