With a passion for patient care and a vision for a new kind of dental practice, siblings Giga and Ana Gibishvili founded Smile Care dental clinic in 2016 in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi. What began as a single office has blossomed into a modern clinic chain, offering cutting-edge services tailored to meet the needs of every patient.
The warm, inviting design of the clinic helps customers feel at ease. “Our main motivation was to create a comfortable and caring environment where patients feel they are in good hands. The name ‘Smile Care’ encapsulates what we do; we care about our patients’ smiles,” explains Ana.
With two locations now equipped with advanced digital technology, Smile Care has quickly gained a reputation for excellence, winning its first Golden Brand award in the category “Dental Clinic”.
“Each day we see patients who are seeking to enhance their smiles, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to see the transformations we can help achieve,” Giga says. From routine check-ups to cosmetic procedures, Smile Care offers a comprehensive range of services, ensuring that all needs can be addressed under one roof.
But it’s not just the technology or the services that make Smile Care stand out. The team’s approach to patient interaction is a critical component of their success, Ana believes. Q. What new services is Smile Care Clinic planning to offer?
A. Smile Care Clinic plans to actively develop our bone grafting services and enhance their availability. We are also excited to introduce our new product — night aligners. With the slogan “Sleep is Cool,” these transparent aligners allow patients to have their teeth straightened comfortably by wearing them only at night.
We are also launching digital joint diagnostics and a registration device. This technology will enable us to manage complex cases involving issues with the lower jaw joint and plan appropriate treatments for our patients.
Currently, Smile Care is focused on further developing its existing branches in Tbilisi. However, we do plan to expand the network by adding branches in various regions in the future.
Q. How do the doctors at the clinic keep their skills and knowledge up to date and what types of modern technology does the clinic now use for dental treatments?
A. Our clinic’s doctors regularly participate in training courses at leading dental schools in Europe and America. They stay updated on modern protocols and follow the latest treatment guidelines. What sets Smile Care apart from other clinics is our exceptional team of professionals.
In 2024 we completely upgraded our equipment. Our clinic now utilizes state-of-the-art intraoral tomography, digital joint tomography, registration devices, intraoral scanners, and microscopes. This investment ensures the highest level of accuracy and quality in our services.
We provide a pleasant and comfortable environment along with state-of-the-art facilities that help reduce both the duration of visits and treatment times for our patients. Our clinic is recognized for its expertise in managing complex clinical cases effectively and with minimal trauma in most instances.

A. For our team, the Golden Brand award represents the recognition of nine years of hard work and dedication. Given that the dental field in Georgia is highly competitive, with many successful clinics, this award holds even greater significance for Smile Care. It confirms that Smile Care is a dental brand associated with high-quality service, reliability, and professionalism.

A. I would highlight our team of top-level professionals, who collaborate effectively to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. Our vision for our work and our attitude toward patient care are crucial. This commitment is reflected in our clinic’s core message: “Serve others as we would hope to be served ourselves.”
