The FINANCIAL — The Credit Suisse digital bank offering announced in mid-September ‒ CSX and CSX Young ‒ is available to individuals in Switzerland from today: The CSX app can now be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store. It only takes a few minutes to create an account using a smartphone, and clients can then start using the app right away. CSX also has additional features related to financial planning and pensions, and its functions will be expanded continuously in the coming months. Through its partnership with “blue”, Credit Suisse is also offering its CSX clients discounted access to Swisscom’s new entertainment world.
The CSX app is now available to download from the App Store and Google Play Store. Clients only need a smartphone and a form of identification, such as an ID card or passport, to open an account. As soon as they have created an account, they will receive their IBAN, which they can share with their contacts, and they can immediately start using their new account.
Comprehensive bank offering in a single app
With CSX, Credit Suisse is providing its clients with a comprehensive digital offering that they can use to conduct their banking business quickly and easily in a single app – combined with reliable personal advisory services. CSX is available free of charge and includes a CHF private account, a White Debit Mastercard that can be used for online purchases, and an app with a number of self-service functions. The CSX app will be gradually expanded in the next few months with the addition of new features in areas including pensions, investments and mortgages. From mid-November, clients will be able to extend their mortgage directly via the app, and CSX Invest, the digital wealth management solution, will enable them to make investments starting from as little as CHF 100. Based on the recently announced partnership with AXA, Credit Suisse will, in the future, offer integrated insurance solutions directly via the CSX app. Clients can already use the CSX Financial Plan digital financial planner, which provides an overview of their financial situation as well as recommendations to optimize their personal pension.
Exclusive partnership with “blue” from Swisscom
The launch of CSX also marks the start of a new partnership with “blue” from Swisscom. This partnership builds on the longstanding cooperation with “blue Cinema” (formerly Kitag Cinemas).
It includes discounted movie tickets for CSX clients and will be expanded with the streaming offering “blue+” (formerly Teleclub). “blue+” is the largest Swiss provider of exclusive sport, films, documentaries and series. CSX Young clients will obtain a 20% discount on the entire line of streaming packages (blue Max, Doku, Cinéplay and Sport). CSX clients who open an account with the Premium Black Debit Mastercard by December 31, 2020, can also take advantage of this discount. As part of its exclusive partnership with “blue”, Credit Suisse is thus offering its clients discounted access to Swisscom’s new entertainment world and an additional advantage when using CSX.
