The FINANCIAL — Cushman & Wakefield announced on June 24 that it has been honored with the prestigious Realcomm Digie Award in the category of Best Use of Automation – Property Management in Commercial Real Estate.
The Digie Awards were presented in San Antonio, TX during the Realcomm/IBcon conference June 9th to 10th. The annual conference explores the latest technology innovations impacting the commercial real estate industry. The Best Use of Automation award category recognizes companies that have significantly automated traditional business processes or demonstrated an impact on the industry, according to Cushman & Wakefield.
The award honors the innovative strategy used by Cushman & Wakefield to incorporate several of its platforms, including ServiceNow, Microsoft Office 365, Workday and Salesforce.com all on a cloud-based system. The platform allows for unprecedented efficiency, ease of access for employees, enhanced disaster recovery, and lower operating costs for the firm. The award also recognizes Cushman & Wakefield’s IT organization for the lead it is taking in cybersecurity as related to real estate information systems.
“We’re thrilled and honored to be nominated by our peers and recognized for an innovative strategy that has significantly impacted our firm and create new industry best practices,” said Craig Cuyar, Global Chief Information Officer for Cushman & Wakefield. “For us it’s always about going above and beyond for our clients and delivering forward-thinking ideas that can have a positive impact on their business needs. This strategy has truly helped deliver a platform to our employees that allows them to be successful. When they succeed our client’s succeed.”
“Realcomm is honored to have selected Cushman & Wakefield to win the 2015 Digie Award in the ‘Best Use of Automation – Property Management’ category,” said Howard Berger, Managing Partner, Program Director, Realcomm. “This is an award we give annually to recognize commercial real estate services firms that have significantly automated traditional business processes or impacted the industry through the use of technology, automation and innovation in the property management sector. Cushman & Wakefield was also recognized in 2013 with a Realcomm Digital Impact Award. Craig Cuyar received the award for his consistent commitment to commercial real estate industry thought leadership.
