The FINANCIAL — Crédit Agricole S.A. is pleased to announce the appointment of Sir David Li, Pierre Reichstul and Matthias Warnig to the group’s International Advisory Board.
Sir David Li joined the Bank of East Asia in 1969, becoming Chief Executive in 1981 and Chairman in 1997. He is currently a member of the Legislative Council, elected in the functional constituency of Finance in 2004. He is also the current Pro-Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong.
Since January 2007, Philippe Reichstul has been Chairman of Brenco-Companhia Brasileira de energia Renovavel- and member of the Board of Directors of Repsol and of the Supervisory Board of PSA Peugeot Citroën.
Matthias Warnig has nearly 20 years experience in international banking, including as Chairman and Chief Executive of Dresdner Bank’s operations in Russia. Since 2006, Matthias Warnig has been Managing Director of Nord Stream AG, the consortium of Russian and European energy companies set up to plan, build and operate a natural gas pipeline from Russia to Europe through the Baltic Sea.

Commenting on his appointment, Matthias Warnig said: "The Crédit Agricole group has become one of Europe’s leading financial service providers.
