The FINANCIAL — Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani held a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ibrahim Rahimpour.
The sides discussed the issues on the agenda of bilateral co-operation between the two countries. Special attention was paid to the recent increase of bilateral relations in the areas of trade, economy, education and tourism. Discussions also focused on the regional transport and energy projects, according to MFA of Georgia.
The sides expressed the readiness to contribute to the further development of co-operation.
