The FINANCIAL — 03.07.2018, Berlin – Within the framework of his visit to Berlin, Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani met with the German Bundestag’s Defence Committee Chairman Wolfgang Hellmich.
The sides discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and efforts for the strengthening of co-operation in various areas. Discussions focused on Black Sea security and neighbourhood policy.
Special attention was paid to the forthcoming NATO summit and Georgia’s expectations in this regard.
“Open Door Policy is one of the important components of the Brussels Summit. We hope that the decisions adopted during this summit will reflect positively on the situation in Georgia and on the implementation of the NATO-Georgia Substantial Package” – the Chairman of the Bundestag’s Defence Committee said.
