The FINANCIAL — On the sidelines of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani met with the Gulf Cooperation Council’s Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Negotiations Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Aluwaisheg.
The sides highlighted the importance of Georgia’s successful co-operation with the Member States of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the areas of economy, people-to-people contacts, tourism and culture, according to MFA of Georgia.
While on the theme of the security situation in the region, David Zalkaliani provided the GCC Assistant Secretary General with information regarding the latest developments in Georgia’s occupied territories.
