The FINANCIAL — On 2 May 2017, Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani held a meeting with Permanent Representatives of various countries to the UN.
David Zalkaliani brought to the attention of the Ambassadors the Georgian Government’s successful reforms and the security and human rights situation in Georgia’s occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions, according to MFA of Georgia.
The Permanent Representatives to the UN will remain in Georgia from 30 April to 6 May. The aim of their visit is to get acquainted with Georgia’s culture, reforms and economic climate. Within the framework of the visit, the Ambassadors will hold meetings with representatives of the executive and legislative branches, community of refugees in Tserovani, The Public Service Hall, Technological Park and various museums.
The Permanent Representatives to the UN arrived in Batumi where they held meetings with representatives of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, visited the public service agency under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Sarpi Checkpoint.
