The FINANCIAL — On October 15, Deputy Chief of Mission Nicholas Berliner attended the “Georgia-EXBS-EU Export Licensing Partnership Workshop” organized by the U.S. Government’s Export Control and Related Border Security Office (EXBS).
Experts from the EU Commission provided recommendations for Georgia on how to further implement its new strategic trade control law, and the development of partnership proposals by EU Member States for further cooperation with Georgia, according to Embassy of the United States Georgia.
The Deputy Chief of Mission expressed continued USG support to help enhance strategic trade controls in Georgia.
