The FINANCIAL — Dell Software on December 10 announced that Dell Boomi is partnering with DevCool, an IT advisor and systems integrator to major healthcare payers and providers, to deliver Healthcare Integration Platform as a Service (HiPaaS).
HiPaaS enables healthcare customers to utilize the Dell Boomi AtomSphere integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) in combination with DevCool’s powerful Healthcare Analytics and Integration platforms. HiPaaS merges healthcare transactions and applications on a scalable cloud-based platform, increasing visibility into and improving management of healthcare claims, membership, and eligibility – all with a low monthly fee. DevCool joined the Dell Boomi Partner Network as a Certified Referral Partner in October, 2015, according to Dell.
“We are pleased that DevCool and Dell Boomi are working together to deliver powerful and scalable solutions for the healthcare industry at a manageable cost,” said Sandeep Deokule, CEO of DevCool. “Our HiPaaS is currently helping multiple healthcare providers recover lost revenue, and the solution has already demonstrated benefits for payers, clearing houses and third-party administrators.”
The Dell Boomi AtomSphere iPaaS is a HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based integration platform that enables customers to integrate any combination of cloud and on-premises applications without software, appliances or coding. For the healthcare ecosystem, the Dell Boomi-powered HiPaaS delivers:
The DevCool HealthCare Analytics Platform, providing visibility into operational data and innovative dashboard analytics for monitoring of claims, memberships, and eligibility.
DevCool HealthCare Integration Processes, providing the out-of-the-box integration required to transmit and process X12 transactions, such as claims, enrollment, and eligibility. Offering real-time and batch capabilities, the solution enables providers to easily exchange healthcare data with insurance companies, who can benefit from seamlessly integrating healthcare transaction processing from various trading partners.
“Every stakeholder in the healthcare ecosystem is under increasing pressure to share greater volumes of information faster and more securely,” said Chris McNabb, general manager at Dell Boomi. “Built upon the Dell Boomi integration platform, with built-in healthcare features such as HL7, our HiPaaS with DevCool represents a true application integration breakthrough. Providers, payers, clearing houses and TPAs can now achieve far greater operational efficiency while improving accuracy, reducing risks, and controlling costs, all of which contribute to improved patient outcomes.”
