The FINANCIAL — Dell Software on April 23 announced that Dell Boomi has been recognized as a Market Leader in the first Ovum Decision Matrix for Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS). The report recognizes the Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform for its maturity and acknowledges the company’s extensive customer base and solid renewal rate.
According to Ovum, “the Market Leader category represents a leading iPaaS solution that Ovum believes is worthy of a place on most technology selection shortlists. The vendor has established a commanding market position with its iPaaS solution demonstrating relatively high maturity, good innovation and enterprise fit, and the capability of effectively meeting the requirements of a wider range of integration use cases, as well as executing an aggressive product roadmap and commercial strategy to drive enterprise adoption and business growth.”
Regarding Dell Boomi’s platform maturity, the Ovum report states, “Ovum analysis indicates that the average number of integration processes per user for AtomSphere is substantially higher than that for other major competing platforms, signifying the higher level of maturity of AtomSphere iPaaS.” In acknowledging Dell Boomi’s extensive customer base and solid renewal rate, the report states, “According to the latest update, Dell Boomi has more than 2,800 customers and a solid renewal rate of 96 percent. There has been a significant increase in renewal rate over the last 12 to 18 months, and this coupled with new business wins in the large enterprise segment, has resulted in rapid subscription revenue growth. These figures also indicate the success of AtomSphere product strategy that continues to focus on expanding customer support and engagement features.”
“Recognition as a Market Leader in the first Ovum Decision Matrix for iPaaS is a direct result of our successful focus on expansion in Europe,” said Chris McNabb, general manager of Dell Boomi. “Our investments over the past few years—including EU data privacy compliance, our London EU cloud, and regional SI partnerships—have resulted in a dramatic increase in demand for Dell Boomi AtomSphere across Europe.”
Dell Boomi AtomSphere is a multi-purpose PaaS for integration, Master Data Management (MDM) and API Management that makes it easy for organizations to move, manage and govern information across their hybrid IT environment. Businesses of all sizes, from growing mid-market companies to very large enterprises, rely on Dell Boomi to increase productivity, reduce development complexity and achieve significantly faster time-to-value compared to traditional integration, MDM and API management solutions. AtomSphere also delivers the enterprise-class scalability, security and performance that companies need, providing shorter time to value and lower total cost of ownership, according to Dell.
“Dell Boomi achieved high scores across technology, execution, and market impact evaluation dimensions of Ovum Decision Matrix for iPaaS—this combined with the capability of AtomSphere iPaaS to support hybrid integration use cases, including on-premise, cloud, B2B, mobile, and legacy integration—positions the company well for European and global expansion,” said Saurabh Sharma, Senior Analyst, Infrastructure Solutions at Ovum and author of the report.
“Stretch and Dell Boomi have a fantastic synergy,” said Martin Sahlin, CEO of Stretch Denmark. “Our customers meet their most challenging integration goals by building on Dell Boomi AtomSphere with Stretch’s strong team of Boomi-certified professional consultants across the EMEA Nordic region, covering Denmark, Sweden and Norway.”
