The FINANCIAL — Dell Services on April 22 announced that Gartner again has ranked Dell as No. 1 in Global IT Services for Healthcare Providers based on 2014 revenue, for the sixth consecutive year.
Dell believes the growth is representative of the dramatic change taking place in the industry, as well as the need for future-ready IT platforms to manage rising costs and regulatory pressure, boost efficiencies and address competitive tension. Dell has served its healthcare and life sciences customers with an information-driven approach that combines IT platforms, digitizing and securing data to deliver information when and where it’s needed. As a result, caregivers are provided with real-time data to aide in clinical support and operational insight to enable healthcare innovation to flourish and positively affect patient care, according to Dell.
“To keep pace with healthcare’s evolving landscape, health plans and provider organizations need to unlock information, empower caregivers and unleash innovation. To do that, they must more effectively run, grow and transform their IT systems, applications and processes,” said Sid Nair, Dell Services vice president and global general manager, Healthcare & Life Sciences. ”We believe the continued recognition from Gartner is an affirmation that Dell’s information-driven healthcare focus is delivering significant value for our customers so they can do more than ever before.”
Dell is proud to support many of today’s leading healthcare organizations, including Dignity Health, HealthMarkets, Beth Israel, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Boston Medical Center, and the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen). Dell Services continues to demonstrate its leadership by successfully guiding customers through the development and delivery of complex integrated IT solutions for healthcare.
As a leader in the healthcare IT space for more than 20 years, Dell is continuously chosen by top customers to understand and identify the right solutions that help improve care, drive overall efficiency and manage financial risks.
