Delta: Enhanced rebooking puts choices at customers’ fingertips

The FINANCIAL — Delta has launched the latest enhancements to its automated rebooking system to improve the customer experience during flight cancellations and delays.

New functionality has been added to kiosks in airport lobbies and concourses to give customers all available options for more individual control over rebooking their travel by letting them choose which routing works best for them, according to Delta.

Highlights of the new enhancements include:

Minimizing the disruption to customers by finding and offering unique routings.
Delta-ticketed customers will have flight options on Joint Venture, SkyTeam and codeshare partners.
Customers with a ticket issued by a Joint Venture, SkyTeam or codeshare partner will have the opportunity to rebook on Delta-operated flights.

The latest phase of rebooking features is scheduled to roll out on delta.com and the Fly Delta app in early 2016.
