The FINANCIAL — Delta’s passenger unit revenues dipped 1 percentage point in October compared to the same period in 2014, including a 2 point headwind from foreign currency exchange fluctuations, the airline reported on November 3. The result showed marked improvement over the previous month.
The airline also reported strong operational performance, with a 100 percent mainline completion factor and 92.1 percent on-time performance for the month, according to Delta.
The results showed the benefits of Delta’s winter capacity actions, the airline reported, including a 4 percent reduction in international capacity for the month.
Last month, Delta reported adjusted pre-tax income of $2.2 billion for the third quarter of 2015, an industry record.
